Baby Tobias was my first session since making the transition from Taree to Morisset.
Having yet to explore, I found a cute little spot just up the road from my place! Sir Tobias is everything cute and more. Such a dream baby, he gave me so much variety from wide eyes to sleep shots and was such a good boy to work with! Look at all that hair!!!!!
Congrats Dani & Terrence, he's stunning.

Say Kiaora to my kiwi sister SONJA!
I have a special place in my heart for this girl and boy-oh-boy was I elated when she told me she was carrying! Of course, an impromptu photo shoot after her baby shower was most definitely on the cards! Her husband hails from Papua New Guinea, so HELLO beautiful mixed baby!

Enjoy the goddess that is Sonja.

(update - she had a STUNNING baby girl Victoria! Congrats family)

Absolutely loved shooting this bump! I went to high school with this beautiful soul and watched her share the love on my images so many times! So I was super estatic when she asked me to photograph her miraculous journey to motherhood. Cass is such a beautiful soul and paired with her Thor-lookalike-hubby Shae, I know they will make such beautiful parents to their little miracle boy, Bohannon.

CDH AWARENESS

Little Miss Miraculous - Meet Emily Rose, the miracle baby that we all prayed for. Before this princess fought to make her mark in the world, Lauren had endured a heart wrenching miscarriage which took two long years of fertility treatment to conceive. However, five months later, she was pregnant again but this time with double the blessing in identical twins!

Sadly, Lauren ended up losing one of the twins at 15 weeks. Concerns then arose over Emily's well-being, due to having shared a placenta with her twin. When one twin dies, all the blood flow is diverted to that twin in an effort to save it, therefore depriving the other baby.

As as this concern at 24 weeks along, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) was found on an ultrasound. CDH is a birth defect of the diaphragm and is both life-threatning and a major cause of death in infants. Survival chances are low and after birth, the baby will usually be immediately placed on a ventilator.

However, on the morning of the 3rd of January 2018 in a labour that went from **3cm to being born in 21 minutes** from start to finish, with no time for pain relief, little Emily Rose Service entered the world! She had NO complications post-birth and no surgery was required as the hernia had shown to have closed all on its own!

"Post birth, the x-ray showed that although there was some evidence of weakness remaining in her diaphragm, the hernia appeared to have healed itself! It really is a miracle to us that this could happen, but here she is!" - Lauren (Emily's mama).

Emily is a little miracle baby today and she made it past her 1st birthday and is happy, healthy and busy being doted on by her big brother + Furbabies - she also has another sibling on the way!!

One of my favourite families that I always enjoy photographing are the McFawns! It all began many years ago when Kiarni came to me pregnant with Miss Marley Lola! This time we prepped for and welcomed Sir Tully Lawrence McFawn. Such a handsome bubba with so much hair and gorgeous eyes! He didn't find my jokes that funny but gave me permission to capture his beautiful eyes!

Congrats Kiarni & Brayden xoxo

Meet new mama-to-be Sally-Anne. Gentle, shy and quiet but ever so gorgeous! It can be a little scary rocking up to be photographed by a stranger and even more so on your own, when you know you will be in your most vulnerable state in front of my lens but I LOVE the mama's that take the plunge anyway! They book because their desire to document their impending journey to motherhood is more important than their rational fear!

Congrats on mamahood Sal, you will make an amazing mama!

EDIT * funny story, the next day she gave birth!!! Congrats Sal!
